In the modern world, much is made of the need for “Networking”. Indeed, as a way of extending business contacts and by them, reaching a bigger pool of potential customers for your product or service, networking is a valuable promotional tool for your business.
Thurrock Small Business Club is even more than this. Certainly the opportunities exist at our monthly meetings and our Orsett Show exhibition to meet other members and make those essential contacts. The Club also serves to expand and improve the knowledge of its members both with information about the local and national business environment, but also with knowledge about each other’s business to be able to pass those details on to the wider audience throughout Thurrock and beyond – this is the true value of networking.
Our meetings are held on the second Tuesday of each month at various locations throughout the borough and at each meeting a guest speaker – either from within or outside the Club – gives a talk on their particular specialism.
Businesses from outside the Borough are welcome to join.
We offer a free initial visit for you to meet us and see whether you wish to become a member.
The annual membership fee of £25 provides a listing in the Club’s annual Directory which is compiled from the renewal information and circulated to approximately 3,000 businesses in the Thurrock area. Further advertising in the Directory is available to members at £65 per half page or £110 per full page.
