The Q-Star system has been designed specifically for the rapidly growing information kiosk market. Q-Star information kiosk system caters for every community group, from the disabled community, those with learning difficulties, ethnic minority groups, and anyone who has poor IT skills. Q-Star has been designed to be easy to use and intuitive. For visually impaired people Q-Star speaks to you. For hearing impaired the same information is displayed on the screen and can be provided in sign language. To cater for motor impaired groups and anyone with poor IT skills there are only a small number of buttons to operate. Each button can be easily customised and altogether can cover the entire screen making the system easy to use and intuitive. To cater for ethnic minority groups the system can provide the same information in any spoken language. With 8.6 million people ( 1 in 7 people ) in the UK being disabled it is essential that the disabled community is adequately catered for, and the main spoken language for over 15 % of the population not being English, combined those with poor IT skills, there is a large percentage of people that would benefit from using the Q-Star information kiosk system. The Q-Star information kiosk system will greatly benefit schools to improve the accessibility of information for school services to the community, provide navigational type information and a convenient way of direct advertising in shopping centres, provide specifically targeted local information in hotel lobby areas, information to customers in reception areas of councils, government run agencies and private companies with busy reception areas; other industries that may benefit include theme parks, zoos, libraries, and museums etc. Click Here to see our pricing information. |

Danny Crates, Paralympian 800 m gold medallist in Athens 2004 and IPC World Champion 2006 believes the Q-Star system developed by Queue Solutions Ltd will benefit not just disabled groups and ethnic minorities, but equally able-bodied people who have difficulty in understanding and using computers. Danny is currently promoting the Q-Star system on behalf of Queue Solutions Ltd. |

The school can provide relevant
advertising on Q-Star, such as advertising school sponsors, independent
tutors based in the local area, companies providing school uniforms etc. This extra revenue is divided between Queue Solutions and the school and can offset against the cost of purchasing Q-Star. With just a small number of advertisers it is likely Q-Star will pay for itself. |
